“Art is never wrong, and doesn’t judge. It’s beautiful because anyone can be a artist and express themselves in a way that maybe words can not. It can be shared and its messages can elevate the masses. The arts and the creative process impacted my life in such a positive way. I used to hang out and do the wrong things because my mind wasn’t stimulated enough in the street. Once I knew I had some talent, I started to practice and, that time, helped me reflect on what I was doing.  I understood that my art, in a way,  its an escape from negativity and helped me keep going because it’s only going to get better with time. I would like to join the advisory committee because I love my borough and its people. We need to represent in a positive way, I want to show that it doesn’t matter where you from it matters where you’re going.”
