BxArts Factory is a project visualized by Laura Alvarez (lArtist & Community Organizer), Twahira Khan (Community Activist), Alexis Mendoza (Artist & Curator) and Yolanda L. Rodriguez (Community Organizer, Writer & Educator) in 2014. Their knowledge and experiences support the growth and stability of BxArts Factory. They are an example of what can be accomplished by a group of local, committed collaborators, with shared experiences that also have our fellow Bronxites in mind.
