Opening for Women’s International Month, Tribute to Women & Diversity consist of a series of interviews with Bronx women conducted by Bronx based artist Aida Miró. Each interview of the project is accompanied by a portrait painted by her, on virtual display at www.bxartsfactory.org beginning March 8th, 2021.
“With this project my aim is to give visibility to Bronx women, their diversity, hear their voices and stories, how they relate to the Bronx and make them immortals with their portrait paintings.” Aida Miró
