BxArtsFactory presents “The Fight for Freedom and Justice” a photography exhibition by Jemaray Pyatt for the month of February, Black History Month. Jemaray has been documenting his journey and experiences during the most difficult times of our generation : Ferguson (the murder of #MikeBrown), Baltimore (the murder of #FreddieGray) and various protests and matches in NYC (#EricGarner, the fight for religious tolerance and the fight for immigrants).
Jemaray Pyatt is a passionate and tenacious filmmaker and field producer who has spent the last eight years writing, shooting, producing, editing, and directing documentaries, short films, and web series centered on race, social justice, and figures in the music and entertainment business. A proven facilitator and organizer who is excellent at researching and reporting in environments that are high-pressured and fast-paced.
Join us on Thursday, February 6th from 6-8 for the Artist Reception to celebrate Jemaray’s debut show and to view a collection of work that speak life and truth in to some of the most eye opening and thought provoking moments of our generation.
