Make a Wish Workshop: Candle Making/ Wish Jar Workshop (Candle Making/Wish Jar Workshop) with Ruddy Mejia//Katherine Miranda

Make your wishes come true on Saturday, November 11th at BxArts Factory. In the theme of our Memento/Momento exhibition, we are hosting a “Make a Wish” workshop where participants will work with artists Ruddy Mejia and Katherine Miranda to make candles and wish jar keepsakes.
Starting at 12pm, participants will customize and adorn their own glass candles to take home. Then transition into the Wish Jar portion where you will use an array of different materials from dried flower petals, beads and dandelion seeds to “make a wish” upon a jar. Individuals will make two jars, one for themselves and another for our collective altar. Come join us as we reflect, imagine and hope together on 11/11 and take a memento with you.
(RSVP REQUIRED-Please Note one project per family or pairs when making the candles but individual wish jars for each participant.)
