Drawing the Anatomy with Mario Menjivar
Class Dates and Times:
Tuesday, July 11th – 6 to 8 pm
Thursday, July 13th – 6 to 8 pm
Saturday, July 15th – 11 am to 1 pm
Description: Students will learn how to draw some of the major bones and muscles in the human body. It’s known that a strong anatomy foundation is the beginning of a great artist.
Class Objectives: To help students understand of the body’s structure and its purpose in art. Students will learn to analyze physical structures, figuring out how and why they work. Students will also learn how to simplify shapes before giving them details. This foundation will help lead the student toward other principals of art such as: Painting, Sculpture, Illustrations, Comics and Animation.
This workshop is open to community members 18 years old or older.

The series of free workshops is designed to unlock the artist within and empower you as an individual and community partner. Our series will be taught by amazing teachers and collaborators that are so excited to engage with you in the creative process.
